NFL Women’s Community

Connecting women across the sport of football.

The NFL Women's Community connects women across the football ecosystem by serving as a central platform for resources, events, programs and initiatives that support and champion women involved in the game.

Launched in 2013, the Women’s Community intends to support the personal and professional development, health & wellness, and cross-collaborative engagement of women in the NFL family.

“The NFL Women’s Community will provide resources and awareness to women who work in football, play football, are players’ mothers, wives or significant others, and are fans of the game,” said Troy Vincent, Sr., NFL Executive Vice President of Football Operations. “The vision is to create community and engagement with women through information, resources, and activities encompassing the breadth and depth of football.”

The Women’s Community provides:

  • Resources and information that cover a wide variety of interests within football.
  • Partnerships with organizations who engage with and support women in football.
  • Initiatives designed and implemented to connect and develop women in football.

Future Leaders in Football Fellowship: Select participants interested in careers in football are provided with a stipend to work with their institution’s football program in the following areas: athletic training, scouting/recruiting, football operations, equipment, and video.

Officiating

NFL Mackie Development Program: The NFL Mackie Development Program was created to give experienced collegiate football officials the opportunity to be developed, mentored, and educated with the hopes of improving the overall quality of football officiating. The program looks to expand the base of highly qualified and diverse officiating candidates aspiring to be selected for the NFL.

Forums

NFL Women’s Forum: Helps the NFL identify women currently working in college football to join its next generations of leaders. At the Forum, participants interact with Owners, General Managers, Head Coaches and club executives in the NFL and in college football programs to help attendees grow their network and learn industry insights. Participants get an exclusive look into coaching, strength and conditioning, player personnel, team operations, football administration, research and strategy, video and equipment.

Future Leaders in Football Forum: This forum brings together students from across the country to hear from industry professionals and League partners. Through this virtual event, students are able to participate in lectures and panel discussions with NFL leadership and club executives, resume and skill-building workshops, and peer-to-peer networking.
