Former players: Use your playing experience to stay connected to the game as an official.

The NFL’s Legends Officiating Program, part of the league’s Football Officiating Academy, gives current and former players an opportunity to use their football experience and expertise to stay involved with the game they love as an official.

The 2016 NFL ODP Officiating Clinic on March 10-12 in Linthicum, Maryland is a 3-day clinic that gives participants officiating fundamentals and philosophies, classroom instruction and on-field training.

Registration for the officiating clinic also secures your spot at the 9th annual Tom Beard Football Officials Clinic. The clinic features an assembly of nationally prominent officials, observers and supervisors who share their experience, philosophy and knowledge with current and former players at this unique event.

• Thursday, March 10 – NFL Orientation (BWI Airport Marriott) “Officiating 101” where participants will learn from NFL officials, NFL supervisors and experienced officials.
• Friday, March 11 – Classroom Sessions (The Conference Center at the Maritime Institute in Linthicum, Maryland)
• Saturday, March 12 – On-Field Sessions (various locations)
